It's a great place to chill out and have a quiet drink after work
I was a previous customer when the Bitter End was a friendly place to pick up some great beers by the pint, now it has become an excellent place to meet the locals, chew the fat and socialise on a Friday and Saturday evening. John, Paul & staff are always very welcoming, be that to the regulars or fresh faces, as are the people that drink here.If you are feeling peckish there are a great range of bar snacks, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and the like, perfect to complement some of the excellent kask ales and beers. If beer isn't quite what you fancy, there are over 20 gins, prosecco, white and red wine too.Great beer, great atmosphere - just what you want from a friendly local bar!
Shhh... keep it quiet but this is the best bar in Bromley by a mile. It's a haven for those who like proper beer (Wine, top end lagers and Gin!) and who miss the atmosphere of a real local. John, Paul and staff are excellent hosts. Just don't tell anyone!
This used to be my favourite off-licence in the Greater London area.They have now changed the focus from bottled beer to cask ale and turned themselves into a mighty fine small bar.You can still turn up for a takeaway with your own container but as said above, would love to have to stay for a pint to!
LOVE this QUIRKY BAR ...!!I have visited on several occasions and have always had a WARM & FRIENDLY reception ..!!What I LOVE about this place is that they have over 20 different types of Gin to have plus a FABULOUS selection of FEVER TREE Tonics I especially Love the aromatic tonic ...!!They also sell pasties ranging frommeat flavours to vegetarian. I am usually not a lover but the Cheese & Onion pastie is a MUST ...!!They also and at least not forgetting sell bitter unusual ones by the glass and the keg ... You can also order online...!!So if you want a local bar to chill out with some stimulating conversation then THIS IS THE GO TO BAR WHEN YOU DONT HAVE TO TRAVEL FAR ...!!See you both soon ...!!Baker-Girl xx
