Very helpful staff but still costly insurance
Nice offices. Reception a little overzealous on security if you don't walk straight to their desk (was on a call). Direct Line staff are great.
I have been a Direct Line customer for over 15 years! With over 6 properties for home insurance and car insurance. Ive paid them in excess of 30000 and never had a claim in my life. We had a leak in the downstairs. Our entire wooden floor is ruined! Direct Line have sent 2 surveyors out. Now 6 weeks later theyre telling me theyre not paying out because I run a business from home. Something they were aware of from my first insurance with them! Plus its not ran from my home! Its ran from separate offices 50 meters away from my home and always has been. My home is nothing at all to do with the business. And what relevance that would have on a leak in my house? Theyre scamming, robbing b&@stards. Who now Im in the process of Issuing court papers to take them to court! Do not waste your money with this company! More than happy to take your money for 15 years! But not expect any help when you have a genuine and heartbreaking claim! They just make a terrible situation even worse! Would not even give them 1 star if could have left a review with out one I would have! All of theyre reviews on there website are fake! You can not leave a review on there! Ive tried! They publish all of them their selves! Do not waste your money!!!
