Went in for a pack of paracetamol. Asked for receipt/invoice .... Provided me a with print out without business name, comp reg number, vat number .... When I asked whats this, other members come from the back convincing me was a legal system they used ! Then offfer to stump the little invoiceAvoid , tax dodgers !
Love the personal service I can get when I go in, they remember their clients and the service is far better than the bigger chemists and the queue is always a lot shorter
I have been using Caxton pharmacy for years now and can't recommend it enough. I have used the vaccination service and considering my son was very distressed I found them very professional and calm with a small child. The chemists there are experienced and trained and will advise on medicines if needed, which is not what you find in most high street chemists.I'd rather support an independently run pharmacy than the huge chains like Boots who do not offer any care or personal service.
Staff very obviously try to con you out of more money by slinging wild prices into their till and pretending it is the normal price. Only when rigorously questioned over the price of the prescription being so absurdly more expensive than the previous time I purchased this did someone else interject to tell them the price is wrong and then they corrected it. Absolute con artists, stick with Boots or Scotts Pharmacy.
