Great store. Bakery department has great tasting pastries. The only thing I wish for is for the self service tills to take cash as well as card. As at the moment it's card only.
In town centre location so lacks parking facilities in the immediate area. Good stock whenever I've been in, and the usual guff in the middle of the store to help you part with cash you hadn't planned on spending while shopping for your meat n veg. Self checkout does a good job of keeping the queues short and making a quick visit feasible. They actually seem to work too...not had any "unknown item in bagging area" issues as yet.
Cheap good quality food and weekly offers on household goods make this a shop that is always worthy of a visit when passing. One star off for some very narrow aisles that cause congestion issues. I have seen others complain about the self service tills but I have never had any issues and find them quite easy to operate.
Great place to get cheap everything without compromising on the quality. There is always something new every week.If I had to point out a weakness it thenFruit and veg would be the weakest products for me. They quality is a bit lower on the cheap ones (but yeah they are cheap for a reason).Other than that their meat, bakery and milk products selections are great.
Decent prices, great to see some interesting products when compared to other large UK supermarket chains - particularly good chocolate. Clean and convenient. Glad it is not any bigger - dont want to spend my life circling around a football field sized shop to get a few items! Would be good if it opened a little later given its central location. Glad they are focusing on keeping the self check out tills running with a helper nearby instead of making them a side show.
