I can honestly say I am pleased with the service I receiced. Was initially apprehensive about finding a 'good' solicitor to facilitate a house purchase who would be responsive & fast in processing things through. From initial quote Kavitha stood out from the other firms I rang. She was detailed, responsive & patient in explaing the process & was confident that she would get me an exchange before Christmas which was a tall order since I engaged her in November. True to form she processed things efficiently & promptly responded to emails/calls & we achieved exchange as promised. As I used google review to find them, it is only fair I pass on my experience.
I would highly recommend Kavitha Rajah at Amphlett Lissimore in Bromley. I recently exdhanged contracts on a sale and purchase and she was the reason that it happen so quickly and efficiently. I was kept well informed and advised throughout the process, which only took 7 weks from offer accepted to exchange even though my sale was a leasehold flat with lots of complications. Kavitha and her team are great at responding via email and on the phone. Not great at all for conveyancing. Need constant chasing for any kind of update or don't get back at all. Attention to detail not their strong point, spelt my surname wrong twice on documents like land registry application and questions sent out to other solicitor were at times just not written well, with part sentences and confused changes in subject matter. Some points of law were questionable too, which made them quite obstructive at points. Also if you want to 'expedite' the period between exchange and completion to less than two weeks, you will have to pay extra for this. There are better and cheaper solicitors in Bromley.
